Hello Dr. Banga, The tea is a cathartic which means a cleanser. Dr. Miller discovered that animals chewed on persimmon leaves about 30 years ago when he was watching them in his back yard. He wondered why they were interested in these leaves. He ended up formulating the tea and has offered this product for over 25 years now. It is a safe blend of natural herbs. Here are some more details: When taking Holy Tea the objective is to regulate your bowel movements to two or three each day in order to keep the toxic waste flowing and not sitting in your digestive system for long.
