What are "profile settings", and how can I change them?
You can make changes to your profile by clicking on "Settings" (cog symbol in the left sidebar) > "Privacy". For example:
- whether you would like your groups to be displayed
- whether you would like to activate or deactivate your guestbook
- whether your activity index should be visible
- and whether you would like your contacts to be able to see your business address in the Map View.
On this page, you can also enter your reasons for using XING under "I’m a XING member because I want to..." so that people who visit your profile know why you use XING (e.g. to find new employees, to meet interesting people, to find a job).
Note: The profile settings do not contain any information that affects your privacy or information that is released individually.
