  Introduction to the group and request to expand my Xing network

  I am new to the group and as a matter of fact new to the whole Xing concept. I am a strong believer in networking. Networking for me is more than a stack of business cards. It involves identifying contacts and relationships with others who have similar interests, ideas and goals. The purpose is to draw benefit from these relationships. Networking benefits are usually of value to all the parties involved. I treat business networking as an essential part of my personal strategy.
  
  Please let me introduce myself: I am a multi-industry, profit-generating senior executive with extensive startup and turnaround experience. I have hands-on senior-level background in business development, marketing, sales and project management and demonstrated cross-functional team leadership. I have over 20 years experience, working in senior management positions (CEO/MD/GM level) have multinational public listed company experience. I am competent in dealing with a diverse range of cultural environments, have international experience (working in Australia, U.S.A., UK, France, Austria, Germany and the Middle East). I have industry exposure in consulting, project management, sustainable design, renewable energy, home automation, software development, event management and training (conventions, seminars, etc.), e-commerce and publishing (on- and off-line).
