    • Bio:
    Andreas Kömmling is the founder of AbsolutelyCoaching. He is a professional, qualified Coach based in Frankfurt/Main.

    As a Coach, he has been trained by CTI (The Coaches Training Institute of San Rafael, California), one of the longest-standing Coach training institutions world-wide and the first whose programme has been accredited by the ICF. Inspired by Aikido and transcendental meditation as well as by the ideas of occidental philosophy, he has found balance and strength in the connection between western and eastern disciplines, which add to his life as well as to his coaching.

    Prior to his life as a Coach, Andreas has worked for 12 years at a prime international bank, most recently as a Senior Transactor in structured export finance where he was in charge of the origination, structuring, execution and lead arranging of long-term, structured, export credit insured and commercial finance for emerging-market borrowers.

    Through his professional experience, he has first-hand knowledge of working methods and leadership styles in multinational corporations, public administrations as well as trade associations and supranational organisations. He is familiar with modern decision-making processes, continual organisational development and the challenges of dynamically changing international markets. Also, he is well-accustomed to being in personal exchange with people from different cultures around the world.

    Andreas has lived, studied and worked in Germany, Canada, the U.K. and the U.S.A. He holds a graduate degree in Business Administration (”Diplom-Kaufmann”) of Mannheim University and an MBA of Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.

    Fulfilling long-standing dreams, he hiked on the Spanish Camino de Santiago from St. Jean Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre, travelled in Latin America and has made creative writing a valuable part of his life.
