Dominik PuschThe company name is only visible to registered members.RFID Reader for Android
Hello everybody,
I'm currently searching for two types of RFID Readers.
1. The first one is a USB RFID reader (Mifare) which runs also with Android
2. The second one is a IP RFID Reader (Mifare)
does anyone has any experience related to that topic or can anyone give me some recommendations?
Thank you for your help,
best regards,
Dominik

Hi Dominik, I assume I can help with both. You juest need a chipKIT

plus:

to make a demo. In second step you will redesign both PCBs to one PCB.
Take care that your phone offers Android 2.3.4 or higher. See also:

Hi Dominik, I am at last five times in Berlin this year. All together 15 days. BTW, we can meet at Embedded World in Nuermberg, Cebit in Hannover, Hannover Industy Fair or at a restaurant close to Hannover, because my home is close to Hannover.

Hello Dominic
I guess your are looking for ready to sale hardware.
Reader supply is out of my scope, but following may help.
1.
USB RFID reader (Mifare) / Android
I´m not sure about your intention and application. Sounds like your are looking for a handheld or smartphone.
This link shows a list of NFC/ RFID (Mifare) capable and available smartphones:
http://www.nfcworld.com/nfc-phones-list/#available
I recommend the Google Nexus S.
In case your application is NFC related, consider the great NXP and Google support (Apps, applications notes etc.. )
2.
IP RFID Reader (Mifare)

This is one may fit your application, but there are plenty out there. It`s designed for lower read range. Depending on the tag you can gain about 7 cm. Anyway there are more higher power options out there.
Can you describe your application and share some more details.
Don´t hesitate to contact:
