What is your session covering and why is it important for our delegates?
Kick Ass SEO! I love this title, forget about the color of your hat, there are no hat’s, and if you don’t mind if I blow your mind for a moment, there never were. SEO is and should be about what works, and that is at the core of the sentiment of the Kick Ass SEO panel. Come here from folks on the front lines of break neck optimization and international level SEO on what’s working, what’s broke and how to kick ass.
What can delegates expect to learn?
No joke, we will be straight Droppin’ Science. More than just on-page 101′s, more than the blog-fodder, real juice, real search marketing nuggets of wisdom, and maybe a few arguments or tactics.
Why should they choose you?
I’m genuine like Gucci, raw like sushi
And what will be the key take always from your session?
Some bullshit about Social Media, some differing opinions on panda, a few jokes, some stern warnings about tactics that are high risk, and maybe some beer? In all seriousness I think one of the main reasons I keep coming back to speak at A4U is the skill level of attendee demands great content from the speakers, and the exchanges on stage are as genuine as the ones at the parties and the lunches, it’s really a great event for exchanging ideas.
During your session what question would you ask other panelists or yourself if you were in the audience?
Ask for examples of what worked, how long was it successful, what are the risks, really dig for the meat of the topic. Too often it’s the same questions, how to find a great link, is there a great link, blah blah blah. Let’s hear what worked, that’s what I’d be asking.
Aside from your own session, what other sessions will you be attending at a4uexpo Europe and why?
Google On-Page Optimisation – Likes & Dislikes Sepita Ansari, Catbird Seat GmbH Should be interesting. It’s always valuable getting the current download on on-page tactics from a daily user like Sepita.
Persuasion: Surefire Psychological Tactics To Boost Your Conversion Rate with Stephen Pavlovich, Conversion Factory. Stephen is hands down one of the smartest heads in the conversion space, this is a must see presentation IMO.
SEO Crystal Bowl – Working On A Long Term Strategy Martijn Beijk, Onetomarket Sam Crocker, OMD Joost de Valk, Yoast. I’m going mostly to support my bromance with Joost.
What one piece of advice would you give to delegates attending this years a4uexpo Europe.
Meet people, ask questions, get answers, make friends, and most importantly, have a good time. But be careful, because networking is just one letter away from notworking.
