    As the world continues to seek eco-friendly products the travel industry is in a similar predicament
    by labeling their facility as an environmentally friendly location for their guests to enjoy.

    Such hotels enjoy this status due to many factors be it employee initiatives to minimize waste
    from the maintenance of the hotel, reducing lighting wastage, using eco-friendly detergents
    in their laundry process and participation in tree planting programs; the list of initiatives is long
    allowing their guests to appreciate the contribution their favorite hotel is pursuing to make this
    a more cleaner & greener world.

    Apart from enhancing their image, hotels need to become more ECO conscience in order to fight
    the growing pressure from rising fuel prices. As we stand at $100 a barrel it is not difficult to predict
    that this price may be the norm for quite awhile before continuing to spiral upwards.
