    New cultural tourism enterprise: seeking advice, contacts...
    I am setting up a cultural tourism business that focuses on architecture, festivals, theatre & opera, religious history; to be centred initially on Provence, London, Paris, Brussels, Chicago, New York. I'd be grateful for any advice and/or helpful contacts.

    Hello Jonathan, when the University of Maryland Munich Campus closed here in Munich in 1992 I was the Director of the Cultural Activities & Study Tours Department. As tour operator I organized approx cultural & study tours per year, varying in length from 2 days to 2 weeks. Study tour topics included music history (Vienna, Salzburg, Munich), art history (Prague, Florence, Egypt), geology (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy), anthropology (Morocco, Israel), literature (Russia), theater (London), history (Germany, France, Italy). Cultural tours included additional destinations (Budapest, The Balkans, Istanbul, Greece, etc.) It's a long time ago but I still have some contacts and expertise. Drop me a line.
