    China's Business Culture: A Global Affairs Podcast Series For Building Relations with China's Business Market
    Dear All:

    My name is Christi Pemberton, host of Global Affairs News (sponsored by Global Crest Music, LLC). I would like to invite everyone to a very special online summer event. This summer, we are having a 13 episode podcast series called "Business Culture in China". This podcast was an interview I conducted with Steve Wang, President of SinoBiz Online Marketing; a company that offers services to small to mid-sized companies to prepare and build bridges to connecting and building business relations in China. This week, we have episode 3, which will speak on the influence of the Literati (educated class) and Pop Culture, and the 5 virtues of the historical philosopher Confucius have on current business culture in China and the way business relations are formed. The business culture in China is filled with tradition, history, the modern, and social influence that demands a strong knowledge of how all of these elements interact and join to form this interesting business culture. Previous episodes spoke on "guanxi" (building social networks/connections), and "songli" (gift giving as related to building business relations).
