  Emirates Palace Joins Class of World’s Best Business Hotels

  The Emirates Palace has been ranked high in the worldwide business hotels readers’ survey in 2009 by Conde Nast Traveller Readers, UK.
  
  In the overseas business hotels category, Emirates Palace captured the 16th rank, scoring 81.46. The hotel has also picked up the highest score of 87.50 for shopping facilities.
  
  The publication, which was voted number 1 lifestyle magazine in the world in 2009 by PPA, had asked readers to vote for the best of the best in different travel and tourism sectors: airlines, tour operators cruise lines 
and hotels.
  
  In the Readers’ Travel Awards questionnaire, readers were asked to choose the best the travel world has to offer — everything from hotels and spas to airlines and airports; index of satisfaction, scored out of a maximum of 100. They were then asked to rate their choices according to various criteria, such as service and value for money.
  
  From responses, the magazine calculated the average mark on each criterion, and used this to provide the overall satisfaction percentage figure in the league tables.“The Emirates Palace boasts to be the only hotel in the Middle East to be recognised by the industry’s leading publication,” General Manager of Emirates Palace Hotel Hans 
Olbertz said.
  
  “We are excited about this classification which is another vote of confidence in our world class business facilities and services,” he added. “This recognition will provide us with additional stimulate to put on more effort to further upgrade our services to highest standards of excellence and quality to satisfy our base of loyal clients from the business community,” he affirmed. The Emirates Palace has been recently crowned with the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences 
“ 5 Star Diamond Award” and Business Traveller Awards Middle East “Best Business Hotel in Abu Dhabi 2009.”
