    Introducing Gerhard Schimpf
    Hi everybody,

    my name is Gerhard Schimpf and I am very pleased to join David and Matthias to co-moderate this group.
    Currently I am Chairperson of the German Chapter of the ACM and may be I can lure to the website of the Chapter.
    There you will find my profile (have a look under "Vorstand") as well as the profiles of other chapter officers.
    We are all volunteers but dedicated to our field. Our intent is to serve as catalysts if any of you wants to start
    an ACM related initiative in our region.
