This group considered its task to be linking up business, industry, research and public institutions in addition to identifying areas of strength and synergies. As a cross-company platform, we have set ourselves the target of raising the innovation performance of our members by means of cross-industry projects, seminars and events and increasing value creation.

Together with our group members we will focus in future on innovations and technologies in the field of „ Clean Mobility" with three main priorities:

ECO-Powertrains:
i.e. the development and manufacture of intelligent, electrified powertrains.

ECO-Materials:
Using materials that are environmentally-compatible and conserve resources is a major factor in mastering the challenges that the automotive industry is facing. Intelligent utilization of materials and lightweight construction play a crucial role in reducing CO2, energy and fuel economy, and reducing costs and weight.

ECO-Design & Smart Production:
The most cost-efficient site for production and engineering in Europe, where superior knowledge and intelligent processes are used to achieve results which help to save even more energy and resources.

Short: In future, intelligent electrified powertrains with the appropriate range, assemblies and components made from environmentally-compatible and resource-saving materials, and cost-efficient production technologies will play a significant role.
