The TeleManagement Forum’s Concept-to-Market Delivery Toolkit (C2MDT) collaboration team is seeking for active participants to contribute ideas and experience to a best-practice delivery model.
The C2MDT team intends to establish and provide a delivery model to improve concept-to-market delivery for network operators and service providers.
Players in the telecommunication market are acting in a saturated and highly competitive market. Evolving new business models, launching innovative products and increasing customer experience is essential to compete in such a market environment. Decreasing prices and the current economic recession put high pressure on companies to increase cost efficiency at the same time.
Consequently key objectives of the C2MDT are:
• Reduce time-to-market
• Improve customer experience
• Reduce commercial and technical risks
• Reduce investment effort and ensure sustainability of investments
The definition of C2MDT will be driven by Business Contribution, Operational Excellence, Customer and Future Orientation. To cope with these objectives the C2MDT team will provide processes, organization, architecture, methods and guidelines to achieve these goals
The C2MDT will be based on existing frameworks, provided by the TMF, like eTOM, SID and TAM combined with Agile (i.e. iterative, evolutionary, adaptive) approaches, values and principles. Therefore liaisons with other collaboration teams of the TMF will be established - also to contribute back to these.
The C2MDT will provide methodic guidance to apply the TMF frameworks to improve concept to market delivery within the telecommunications market.
If interested in participating, please contact Dirk Rejahl (dre@mediaan.nl) from Mediaan/ABS bv.
P.S.: A corporate membership at the TMF will be required to participate!
