  my name is Bastian Krol, I am a software engineer with a focus on Java EE. I'm working for a insurance company in Dortmund. Besides all flavors of agile methods (especially Extreme Programming, TDD and Scrum) I'm also interested in the following topics: Java EE, Spring, developing Eclipse-Plug-ins, web services, dynamic languages (especially Ruby with and without Rails) and a lot more.
  
  I'm looking forward to interesting discussions and meeting interesting folks here.

  mein Name ist Bastian Krol, ich bin Diplom-Informatiker und Software-Entwickler, vorwiegend im Bereich Java EE unterwegs. Momentan bin ich bei einer privaten Krankenversicherung in Dortmund tätig. Neben allen Geschmacksrichtungen der agilen Software-Entwicklung (insbesondere: Extreme Programming, TDD und Scrum) interessieren mich unter anderem noch folgende Themen: Java EE, Spring, Entwicklung von Eclipse-Plug-ins, Web Services, dynamische Sprachen (insbesondere Ruby mit und ohne Rails) und diverses anderes mehr.
  
  Ich bin gespannt auf interessante Diskussionen und neue Kontakte in dieser Gruppe.
