Hello there, I am a Specialist Agile recruiter and I currently have the following Scrum Master / Product Owner / Software engineer opportunities with my innovative solutions (and rapidly growing) client located near Frankfurt. My client is an international solutions organisation that provides end-to-end integrated & innovative solutions for clients in the public and private sector. This rapidly growing company has a number of R&D activities in its research centre.following opportunitites (please let me know if you could be interested?):
On the Scrum Master Side:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Scrum Master is a facilitative team leader who ensures that the team adheres to its chosen process and removes blocking issues.
• Ensures that the team is fully functional and productive
• Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions
• Remove barriers, e.g. between the development and the product owner so that the product owner directly drives development.
• Shields the team from external interferences
• Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint planning
• Facilitates the daily scrums
• Improves the productivity of the development team in any way possible.
• Improves the engineering practices and tools so that each increment of functionality is potentially shippable.
• Keeps information about the team's progress up to date and visible to all parties.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Thorough knowledge of Agile development and Lean production as it applies to software product development
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear concepts
• Outstanding presentation and moderation skills, with the capacity to deal with multiple disciplines at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
• University degree (Diploma, MSc.) in computer science or a related subject
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
Work Experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in delivery of complex software development projects in a mature product development organization, including shipping multiple software releases to customers
• Extensive experience scaling Agile development in a large, complex software product development organization, including the active management of product backlogs
• Direct experience managing relationships with multiple formal stakeholders, internal and external
• Experience in the area of urban management or physical security preferred
On the Product Owner side:
POSITION SUMMARY
The SCRUM product owner is responsible for determining and prioritizing user requirements, maintaining the product backlog and ensuring the value of the work the development team performs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Expectations and Tasks
Define a compelling product vision and manage the product roadmap; successfully socialize and align these with customers, executive leadership, developers and other relevant product owners
Deeply understand customer, users and internal stakeholder requirements and market trends and translate them into end-to-end scenarios with detailed functional requirements as a key input to the software design process
Decide what will be built and in which order, define features of the product or desired outcomes of the project by actively managing the product backlog, planning the releases and ensuring coherent software increments leading successful product shipments
Collaborate closely with the SCRUM development team and Scrum Master
Define and manage rich stakeholder engagement programs, both internal and external
Ensures product profitability (ROI)
Prioritizes features/outcomes according to market value
Adjusts features/outcomes and priority as needed
Accepts or rejects work results
Facilitates scrum planning ceremony
On the Software Engineering side:
3-5 years of experience in industrial development environments in one of these areas: Telecom,
Systems Integration, Databases, Operating Systems, or Applications
Programming expertise in distributed systems based on Microsoft (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS
SQL, NHibernate, J#, VB, VB.NET, Active Directory, Windows Server, TFS); optional: Java,
JavaScript, C++, SQL, LINQ, Ajax, SOAP, REST, *sh, Ant, Maven, JUnit, CI Frameworks
Experience in large system integration (design, development, testing, quality assurance)
Either low level system experience (operating system, network protocols, hardware integration)
or application programming (User Interface design / UX, databases, applications)
Experience in Agile development teams is a plus, as well as Scrum, XP, or Crystal
Knowledge of and interest in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Lean Architecture
Experience in mobile applications, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Visual Computing, IT
Security, software robustness, Design by Contract, Clean Code are desired
SALARY = €80,000 – €120,000 per annum + €20,000 - €30,000 (performance related) bonus
