    Do I have to take the CSM Online Exam (Scrum Alliance)
    - If you are currently a CSM, you do not have to take the exam until your Scrum Alliance
    membership expires. All current CSM’s have had their membership automatically renewed for 2
    years by the Scrum Alliance and will not have to renew until 2011. When you renew your
    membership in 2011, you will have to pay $150 and pass the online exam.

    - If you complete a CSM course after October 1, 2009, you will have to take and pass the exam
    to become certified. The cost of your first exam is included in your CSM course fees. Individual
    exceptions to this will be made for those students who are unable to interpret the English
    language until the exam is rolled out in multiple languages. This can be discussed in more detail
    with your CST during your course.
