We are developing a python/django based high-availability
web-application including document review, pdf creation,
digital signing, audit log, revision control,
configurable work flow, deadline tracking,
feedback mechanism, email tracking and more.
We are looking for a scrum master with experience,
for a 10 to 12 months commitment (starting in December 2009),
to guide and take care of a core team of three experienced
senior software developers, all experienced with scrum,
respectively agile software development methods.
The development will be split into 7 to 8 sprints,
consisting of 21 workdays each.
It will be distributed using voice/video conferences,
version control system, issue tracking system,
collaborative whiteboard, distributed scrum poker,
and a online scrum system for burndown statistics.
The preliminary scrum setup is to be solidified with you and the team.
We are based in Vienna/Austria,
although our developers are within reach of a 1 to 2 hours city to city flight,
you should be based around Vienna, to gather with the stakeholders and
product owner physically at deployment/release days.
**Experience/Skills**:
* Certified ScrumMaster, or at least two successful projects as scrum master
* Led at least one successful software-project as scrum master;
Bonus: Experience with programming languages as developer;
Double-Bonus: Experience with python
* Knowledge and opinion of scrum and other agile development techniques.
* Easy-going personality and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent communications skills and experience in
working remotely over Voice/Video Conferencing/Email/Chat/IssueTracking/
VersionControl Systems and other online collaboration tools
* Good command of written and spoken English; Bonus: German
