  GIZ Job 8347a: Public Health and Infectious Diseases expert (m/f), Kazakhstan

  http://j.mp/GIZ8347a: The project objective is to improve infectious disease prevention and control with special focus on Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C in Kazakhstan. The project assures that best practices and evidence based measures are introduced. One essential element of this project is the establishment of sustainable institutional partnerships between relevant institutions in Kazakhstan and in the EU with the aim of transfer of knowledge, institution building and capacity development. The project will also support medical (nursing) colleges with the development of a new training modules for undergraduates in infectious disease prevention and control.
  
  Qualifications
  • University degree in health, preferably post graduate degree in Public Health, specialized in Infectious Disease prevention and control;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of Russian will be a great advantage;
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Experience in developing training programmes will be an advantage;
  • Experience in providing technical assistance in countries of the former Soviet Union would be considered an important advantage.
