  Science Journalist

  Although a science journalist, I am utmost interested in questions of development co-operation since I worked as a scientists in South America and Africa and recently served as mentor for African science journalists in the framework of the World Federation of Science Journalists.
  
  Science, research and technology are of growing interest in developing countries. Teh Norwegian ROSE project (Relevance of Science Education) http://www.ils.uio.no/english/rose/ showed that while interest in taking a science career in the rich countries is decreasing dramatically, it is rising in developing countries, a fact that is widely neglected.
