    'Networking Creatively'! - DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY
    DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY – 1400hrs, Saturday, 12th May 2007 at the Restaurant & Cafe, Zum Hirschchen

    A ‘Special Saturday Afternoon Workshop’, followed by an ‘Après Creativity Networking Evening’, designed specifically for those who enjoy highly interactive and energetic learning and development events!

    The OU Business School MBA Alumni Business Club Düsseldorf welcome Alumni, Guests and Lovers of Creativity, Innovation and Change to an afternoon that focuses on:

    • A review of the highly acclaimed, and recently updated, OU MBA module, ‘B822-Creativity, Innovation and Change’
    • Energisers, Ice-breakers & Techniques used in Improvised and Stand Up Comedy Workshops
    • The Practical Application of creativity in Business Problem Solving
    • A facilitated Q & A session, with ‘Actions’ to take back to your workplace

    Participants are cordially invited to the ‘Après Creativity Networking Event’ that will follow on, immediately after the Workshop. An excellent opportunity to enjoy some food and drink (Dinner and “Altbier”) with the participants and their friends in the Düsseldorfer Old town (Altstadt)

    Due to its weekend /afternoon timing and geographic location, this event will have attendees from not only the local area, but also from neighbouring Belgium and The Netherlands. So please do come along to this international event…and Network Creatively!

    Holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the OU Business School, after previously qualifying as a Chartered Builder, Elvin held board and senior management positions within multi-national project and construction management organisations, undertaking roles in consultancy, marketing, ICT and operations.

    Director for creative management consultancy sTand up management… Elvin works internationally across a multitude of sectors specialising in organisational and personal development. A quintessential maverick, he is renown for his highly energised and inspirational performances at Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.

    His 'Bio' includes:
    * Appearing in OU / BBC TV programmes
    * The Independent film, 'Flowers for Mum'
    * An English TV Series on 18th Centuary London, "City of Vice"
    * Tutor for the OU Business School on two MBA modules, ‘Creativity, innovation and change’ and ‘Strategy’
    * Author of 'Give Peace & Conflict a chance; My Personal voodoo' and 'Power Facilitation'
    * In 2005 Elvin was nominated by the students for the Tutor of The Year Award
    * Elvin studies and performs the art and craft of Improvised and Stand up comedy.
