Sadie Jemmet
Sadie was born in Cambridgeshire but spent most of her childhood travelling around England with her bohemian mother. She decided to become a singer songwriter at the age of 12 after hearing Joni Mitchels 'Blue' album. She left school at 16 to become a backing vocalist in a reggae band in Edinburgh, and from there moved to Berlin where she joined indie folk band Easter Island as singer songwriter and guitarist, playing regularly on the Berlin underground music circuit to critical acclaim.
Sadie returned to England to form her own band Soil which had a slightly grungier electronic feel. Soil did well playing on the London circuit gaining radio play and record company interest but eventually split. She then went to Paris and collaborated on an underground ambient album 'Resonance', which received critical acclaim and extensive radio play. Sadie is now based in London, writing, recording and performing acoustically as a solo artist..
Priscilla Sim
Depressively optimistic, cynically romantic, misogynistic feminism. Kind of funny, but mostly just pissed off. She defines and destroys our outlooks on love, not advisable for the weak hearted.
Priscilla is a writer, poet, artist and co-founder of the events organisation 'T-Shirt & Jeans.' She is the author of 'Paper Perfect' - A collection of poetry which takes us through an exploration of moments; essentially considering the conflicts we experience between our romantic ideals and the realities of what love actually is...not always perfect, not always as we imagined, and sometimes too painfully real.
