    The New Knowledge Web Manifesto

    Introduction

If you're at one end of the Internet and everybody and everything else

is at the other ends, then how do you get something of value that you

created at your end of the Net out to everyone else on the Net. And if

you're someone who has created something on your end that will make a

difference in the world today, then the answer to this question
    becomes

    even more urgent?

Simply put you don't. Did you know the three virtues of the Internet:
    no

one owns it; everybody can use it; and anyone can improve it? [see
    World

of Ends: What the Internet Is and How to Stop Mistaking It for
    Something

Else by Doc Searls and David Weinberger; ref: http://WorldofEnds.com ]

After reading this it becomes apparent that the net is not being used
    as

it was intended; to connect everyone to the outer fringes of the

Internet where real value exists. This is the untapped potential of
    the

Internet which can now be given a name: The New Knowledge Web.

Your accessibility to everyone on the planet who has a computer and an

Internet connection is around 1 billion people This very fact was used

by business to capitalize on the economic potential of the Internet at

the expense of knowledge. And this knowledge, that sits at the outer

fringes of the Internet, and even at its core, was given no precedent.

Instead businesses were created to exploit the Internet and the result

is that we have become a society of consumers of information, services

and products that are built upon the free use of the Internet's
    internal

architecture. The Technological Age swooped in upon us and before we

could truly understand its true nature big business saw the
    opportunity

to take control of it; and it is a perceived false control of the

Internet since nobody owns it in the first place.

The way the Internet grew should not be perceived as a bad thing; big

money went into developing technology that we could only have dreamt
    of

10 or 20 years ago. And its this same technology, that was developed
    for

big business to operate efficiently that now offers a new opportunity

for society; the ability of all the individual artists, scientists,

intellectuals, etc. to participate in the creation of a The New

Knowledge Web that will become known overnight as the World's Last
    Great

Renaissance Movement. It will be more efficient, it will be global and

it will be fueled by the Technological Age for the benefit of humanity

Facilitating a world wide movement which has already begun called The

Last Renaissance is no small task, but bringing out the true
    creativity

of the individual and wiping out the antithesis of what the Internet
    is

not, is a noble goal. The artistic and intellectual activity will
    bring

about change globally because of the need to make our world a better

place to live; and that's the fundamental underlying gift that the

architecture of the Internet offers us.

We can bring together 1 billion people, who together can bring about
    any

change in the world by creating a portal to all knowledge; the
    perceived

value cannot be measured in dollars but rather in change. Alexander
    III of

Macedon, 356-323 B.C. the Great King had Aristotle 384-322 B.C. Greek

Philosopher, the possessor of all knowledge at that time, to conquer
    all of

Europe. We have each other to help us build a better world by
    connecting

with each other and with the world, so that others might sample each

others ideas and work and come up with something that otherwise might

never would have come about if it wasn't for the Internet and big
    business.

    What I See

Creativity is unique to the individual; it is not a collective thing.

This simple fact identifies the characteristic nature of the perceived

value that lies on the outer fringes of the Internet; at each and
    every

    one of our ends.

Why do you make your life so difficult when destiny has already put
    the

steps in front of you to follow?

If you want something take it; if you can see it in your mind then

create it with your hands; it's already been put there for you.

We must realize if you question certainty, you're thinking, and you'll

miss the steps in front of you. Certainty comes from within; it's a

powerful emotion that can drive one to accomplish anything. Don't

question it; if it's part of your thoughts it was put there for you,
    so

    act on it.

    The Truth

There is much more to life than money, but unfortunately this is not

understood by many. How does ignorance find an intelligent mind?

There are those who live on the fringes of society and some live dead

center at the core. How does a voice, that can change the world, find

    our ear?

Some of us sit in quiet contemplation asking the big questions; and we

observe the world around us and see things others don't. How does

    clarity find an innocent soul?

I am deeply concerned about the eroding moral fabric of our society.
    How

does delusion and chaos find a home within the moral fabric of our
    society?

These and many other questions engage some of us everyday; they're the

reason we get out of bed everyday; for some of us it is our reason to

exist. This we know to be true but cannot prove it; oh, there's that

logic thing again; thinking instead of listening.

Why is proof necessary for action?

    Our Purpose

This is the time when we will find our way; we are trusting ourselves

more; our instincts; our gut feeling; and we act on what we hear. We

trust ourselves even more on the big questions where there is no
    proof;

just like we trust ourselves to build a home for our family and to
    take

care of them even though we can't see how.

This is the age of certainty; people are really pissed off at the

economic, political, social, cultural and spiritual decay of their

society. People are taking back their individuality; they are saying
    no

to the corporation; they are certain about themselves even though they

can't prove it. Being fed up is enough to get people to take action,
    but

organized action on a large scale can change society itself and our

great civilization will not go the way historically as the Roman
    Empire did.

This age of certainty is The Last Renaissance; and it's the only

Renaissance in the history of humanity which is global in scope.

It is also the Age of Technology; and the technological advances have

created a gift: the ability for everyone to have access to the same

    knowledge in real time.

    The Portal

Sophistica was conceived out of the need to bring together all the

people at their ends of the Internet together to share their creative

knowledge so that others can sample their work and find the missing

links that would complete their creative projects.

Ironically that was the fundamental role of the Internet in the first

place, but porn and gambling stepped in, and the idea to reverse

economic, political, social, cultural and spiritual decay fell on deaf
    ears.

    Conclusion

By building a home where people can come together and share their

    knowledge; without fear of criticism; without fear of alienation;

without fear of being wrong; the world will be a better place. This
    home

will be Sophistica. It will act as the portal to the New Knowledge

Web and facilitator of The Last Renaissance movement.

The Last Renaissance for those who don't know what is a Renaissance,
    it's a

movement or period of vigorous artistic and intellectual activity; a

rebirth from a decayed and flawed society still living in an
    Industrial

    Age Mentality.

A manifesto is a written statement declaring publicly the intentions,

motives, or views of its issuer.

How does a dream find a home such as Sophistica?

    ____________________________________________________________

THE BEGINNING OF AN EVOLUTIONARY HISTORICAL DOCUMENT THAT WILL MATURE LIKE A FINE WINE AND

GIVE BIRTH TO THE kNOWLEDGE WEB.

I believe that creativity is unique to the individual and that if
people have knowledge of their own moral value [ moral sanction ] then
they will be more creative and productive members of society.

Furthermore with my own money I built along with a partner a
non-profit website for kids. See The Kidz Dream Team at
http://kidzdreamteam.com and I built another site with my same friend
to help people find themselves called The Last Renaissance at
    http://lastrenaissance.com

This is us working at our end of the net providing knowledge to the New Knowledge Web. You can do that too by

posting your contribution to the manifesto and giving us a link and bio so others may find you through the

portal door of Sophistica. Email me for the details. Enjoy yourself and post your ideas and your links back to

your valuable work in every field of endeavor.

Of course the nay sayers might say you have an incomplete site; of
course I do...all of them...because they are works in progress and all
    of my sites invite participation.

Look forward like I said to building The New Knowledge WEB for all of
us by the people, and for the people, one step at a time.

I have emails from people saying they get it without all this
explanation and have offerred to help with all of their resources.

Need I say anymore. Email me and find out how to contribute and have fun building the portal to the New

Knowledge Web starting in it's infancy.

And if you haven't voted for the manifesto on http://www.changethis.com then here's the vote link:

    http://www.changethis.com/proposals/475

and your vote will result in Change This publishing the manifesto.

Thank you for reading this far and sorry for the confusion when I jumped into the forums earlier.

My favourite quote is by Churchill when he said, " Destiny commands me to
do this," and "Keep buggering on."

The New Knowledge Web Manifesto document changes made
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement Barbara. I reviewed the LinkedIn thing and found a better way to communicate my message; I personally don't like to burn bridges, but at least for awhile some of you got to see why it's so good here on openBC. So I reposted leaving out everything except the manifesto itself and how to contribute and how to vote.

Yes, I would like to consider your offer; just give me some time while I organize myself alright.

    Your the greatest.

Thanks Again and with kindest regards,

    Michael Pokocky
