  Dear All,
  
  I am very happy to have found this group of mountain and outdoors enthusiasts. I am physicist, currently in the final stages of my Ph.D. in astrophysics at the University of Kiel.
  
  I love hiking, mountaineering and (rather easy) rock climbing - a passion I can hardly pursue at my current location. After having finished my Ph.D. early next year, I hope to move to regions closer to mountain ranges, again.
