  Hello from a new member

  Hello,
  
  I've just joined Alp*ness and am very excited about this group sharing my great passion for the outdoors. My activities are mainly concentrated on rock-climbing (all-over the world but based in the beautiful German Frankenjura), while I'm trying to maintain some sort of an endurance level through mountain-biking & skiing in the winter time and road-cycling in summer.
  
  However, besides the pure sport in intself, one should never forget the fun part in it, the socalising aspect when out at the crag, and afterwards - of course a MUST in the Frankenjura - sitting together with a "lecker" Schnitzel on the plate in front of you, together with - and especially - one of the 300+ different delicious beers. Best carbohydrate intake ;o).
  
  So now, I am looking forward to meeting many new members through this group, from all over the world, who like to share ideas, meet up, open the mind for new things.
