  Me in a nutshell

  Hi everybody,
  I would like to introduce myself to you.
  
  My name is Iris and I´ve always been interested in the United States. I would describe myself as being open, non-judgemental, curious, energetic and creative. In addition to this I am genuinely interested in people. My first visit to the US was back in 1991 when I was an exchange student in Seattle. Furtherore I worked for WaltDisney World in Florida and for the El Tovar Hotel at Grand Canyon National Park, studied Project Management at UC Berkeley, did a charity project on Route 66 (http://www.bike4thecure.com) and spent basically all my vacations in the States. I really like the people, the lifestyle, the atmosphere, the nature and the way how people look at life.
  
  I have a really strong connection to LA, because a couple of my closest friends live in the valley. Therefore I would love to relocate to LA rather sooner than later - all I need is a job. So, any ideas/help regarding this matter are highly appreciated.
  
  In general I´m hoping to meet many interesting people here and looking forward to sharing useful tips and information. I will try to contribute to this group to my best abiliities. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Talk to you soon. Cheers, iris
