Hello,
in order to organize trips and training camps for US soccer teams to Germany I am always eager to find ways to generate cheap round flights from the US to Germany. Since it is my assumption that booking flights in the US if your departure airport is in the US is cheaper than doing it from Germany, I would be interested in ways to be able to book directly in the US. Does anybody have an idea how best to achieve that?
Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to corresponding with you...
best regards

Interestingly enough - flights departing from a city in the US are not necessarily cheaper when you book them in the US. We (for leisure flights) have done a price comparison over the last few years and it mostly did not matter, where you booked. There is no rule to pricing with Airlines. Sometimes flights are cheaper booked in Germany and sometimes they are cheaper when booked in the US. When booking online, the airlines will automatically detect your IP address and route you to the country specific website with according prices. The only way to avoid this is to have an office/business with an IP address in the US.
