    Junior Legal Counsel
    My client is an internationally recognized manufacturer of mono and multi crystalline photovoltaic modules and has a long history as a solar PV pioneer since it was founded in 1997 as a system installation company in China. Their high-quality PV modules provide clean and reliable solar electric power to on-grid and off-grid residential, commercial, industrial and utility scale applications around the world. With local sales and marketing offices as well as installation partners throughout Asia, Europe and North-America, my client is committed to improving the competitiveness and efficiency of solar energy and developing a sustainable PV industry. My clients growing global presence includes regional headquarters in Switzerland, US, Japan and China, as well as offices in Madrid, Munich, Milan, San Jose, Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai, to provide our customers with timely, reliable service.

    In order to support their growing legal department we are seeking an experienced and flexible Junior Legal Counsel.
    Main Responsibilities:
    Perform all daily legal regulatory and commercial matters for the company’s Europe operations under supervision of the senior legal counsel.
    Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents under supervision.
    Get involved in the coordination of the set up, development, revision of the organization's policies and procedures, and ensure the compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    Provide management/legal department with advice and counsel concerning EU laws impacting the organization's operations.
    Provide comprehensive training to Company personnel on international trade and competition law and other legal matters of strategic importance
    Coordinate and liaise with outside counsel for advice when necessary under supervision.
    Ideal Profile:
    Qualified Lawyer of at least one of the following countries:
    France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany or Eastern Europe.
    Postgraduate education (LL.M or similar) is desirable
    Post-qualification experience including a sustained track record of involvement with complex and demanding legal transactions or work areas, and exposure in a commercial environment to commercial, corporate, intellectual property, product liability, employment, international trade and competition laws.
    Some experience in public procurement work would be desirable.
    Minimum 2-5 years work experience, preferably with solid international in-house experience.
    Strong negotiating and communication skills.
    Hands-on and solution-oriented, as well as pragmatic.
    The job-holder must be fluent in both written and spoken German and English and able to review and draft contracts in German and English. Other language skills are a plus.
    Self-motivated, diligent and detail-oriented
    Readiness to travel within Europe
