    Hello to all,

    in the same context of the last post, here, you will be able to dig on active safety systems technologies, where AUTOSAR is one more time quoted as enabling technology for the development of those functionalities.

    Once again, this doesn't come for free...

    Dear Pascal,

    I was having a discussion on AUTOSAR development in near future with few of my colleagues. They were all referring to a report from Gartner, which says that there is not much development expected in aUTOSAR till 2015.

    Its a very long term plan and most of the OEMs will start pushing for autosar only after 5 years from now. Unfortunately I have not seen that report so I can not assure the validity of this.

    But looking at he current automarket scenario it looks true also.

    Whats your view on this? Because a lot of investment has been done by many of the companies in autosar and if it will be consider after 5 years from now it will be difficult for many companies to do further investment for time being because of later return of investment. They may hold up the investment.

    I would like to ask about your and others opinion on this.
