Henning RiedelThe company name is only visible to registered members.Re: Artop Release 1.1
I just wanted to clarify on the regulations.
What does it mean, that one needs to be an AUTOSAR member?
If my company is a member, does that qualify me personally too, even though, I'm only involved mostly as an end user? E.g. my company might have a division for AUTOSAR, but I work in a totally different division, which only develops ECUs using AUTOSAR?
How would you check, if I'm allowed to access this?
Do you ask the consortium, if I'm a member e.g. of a specific AUTOSAR specification group?

Hello Henning,
Artop is providing a licence similar to EPL (Eclipse Public Licence) which is totally Open Source. In the case of Artop, it contains IP owned by the AUTOSAR consortium, and therefore, a special licence had been writtent to take into account this. In the end, if someone belonging to a company that is member of the AUTOSAR consortium apply to the early adoption program, he would be able to access Artop.
This is your case since you are for Continental I assume. Your personnal activity might be related to AUTOSAR or not, Artop don't check so precisely the activity of everyone!
I hope this clarify your questions!
Cheers,
Pascal
