    Does AUTOSAR carry a heavy price tag ?
    Hi All,
    I am working on the concepts of AUTOSAR and in the process

    May be initial R&D cost will be high but subsequently it will reduce the cost of a vehicle once it is fully done and launched in vehicles.

    Interesting subject...
    I have also a question concerning AUTOSAR pricing.
    Not really on R&D costs my company has to spent.

    It can be the case, that I have following parts to integrate on an ECU:

    The AUTOSAR BSW - delivered by an 3rd party supplier
    Some OEM related SW modules - to integrate by myself or also the supplier
    Application SW

    Assumption: I will buy the AUTOSAR BSW + OEM related SW modules from the 3rd party supplier.
    What about now concerning a heavy price tag?
