  The automotive industry is undergoing change. Value and prestige of a vehicle are no longer defined only by sheer size, but often through energy efficiency, safety or comfort features. The electronics here is the classic "enabler" of the many innovations made possible. Already, the share of electronics in the automotive value reached 40 percent in some places. For the hybrid and electric vehicles enriched future will surely increase this value still.
  
  To provide a forum for development specialists to exchange information and new techniques, standards and tools organized to inform the automotive electronics magazine on 11 May 2010 Ludwigsburg.
  
  This is aimed specifically at design engineers from automotive manufacturers, suppliers, development and consulting services as well as devices and software vendors.
