Hello Lidia! Prospecting is fun and adventurous! This is all a numbers game. We make our money in sales by receiving the no's. I love what I do, in fact I believe I have the greatest product and personal service in the whole world. Excitement is contagous over the phone. Sell the sizzle (benefit) not the steak (benefit) over the phone. Your prospect will connect with you and your energy and excitement. After about 3-4 calls I am right where I need to be in my comfort level. People are buying you and the unique experience that follows. Practice inflection, intanation, sound, tone, rythm and pitch along with speed and pause. Your voice is so powerful, work on it and practice to be at your highest performance. Remember you have about 3-5 seconds to connect with people in regards to their attention span. Also, remember no is not forever. And its always no unless you ask. Some of my best prospects have taken me over a year to schedule appt with. My NOTES from Outlook can prove what I am saying to be accurate. I always try to make the appt for the same day especially while they are riding the wave of emotion and excitment! Its all about timing. Never take it peronal its only business. When they tell you to call back ask when and ask for their cell phone. When you get good at this unconcious game you say ok great your busy listen would it be ok to stop in to see you later this afternoon or just before closing. Of course you always want to make sure that you have prequalified this person and not wasting your time. When you need some other ideas let me know! Take care Lidia! Ilovesuccess
