Attention taxi users
As of today (25 Nov 2009) taxis charge an extra 1RMB for journeys that are longer then 3km.

It is valid for taxis using 93 Octane petrol. The extra 1RMB is in force whilst petrol prices are in the 6.5 - 7.1RMB/litre range.
