The practice for the National Day celebration will start from 22.30 on Friday 18 September to 02.00 on Saturday 19 September. Traffic restrictions at various areas will be carried out from Friday to Saturday morning. Details as below:
1. The core areas in Tian An Men(e.g, The Forbidden City, Zhong Shan Park ,Mao's Memorial Hall) will be closed off from 07.00 Friday 18 September to the end of the Practice on Saturday morning.
2. Trains will NOT stop at stations such as Guomao, Jian Guo Men and Dong Dan from 16.30 on Friday 18 September. Colleagues going home who need to transfer at these stations may want to consult with your line manager and see if you can finish work earlier.
3.From 17.00 to 21.00 on Friday night, roads will be closed off on Gonti Donglu, Dondaqiao Lu. Cars will need to detour via Ritan Lu and the east third ring road.
4. From 16.30 Friday till the end of the practice, traffic controls will apply from the east extension of the Chang An Avenue from Sihui via Jianguo men Nei, Jianguomen Wai, east and west of Chan an Avenue, Wang Fujing, Xidan...
5. From 03.30 to 08.00 on Saturday 19 September, roads from Qijiayuan to Dongdaqiao Lu, Gongti Donglu to Gongti Donglu Bei Kou will be closed off. Cars will need to detour via Gongti Xilu, Chaowai Dajie.
Due to the above traffic restrictions on Friday, traffic conjunctions are expected in a large areas including the Embassy areas (e.g, Guanghua Lu). Colleagues may want to adjust their travel plans as necessary.
