    The Austrian Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI) in co-operation with the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) is implementing an EZA project between Austria and Kosovo and is therefore looking for a


    Project Manager


    Duties and Responsibilities
    The incumbent’s tasks are as follows:

    1. Ensures smooth and timely management and implementation of a multidimensional project between Austria and Kosovo in the field of Higher Education. Please find a short project description under http://www.ada.gv.at;
    2. Provides appropriate monitoring and supervision of overall project management and ensures that progress is in line with agreed verification of indicators;
    3. Provides quality control and strategic management support for the project team and/or implementing partners;
    4. Acts as an efficient liaison ensuring a transparent flow of communication between the project patrons, the project donors, the project beneficiaries and all other contributing parties (experts);
    5. Ensures an efficient and effective operational interface between implementation partners;
    6. Manages financial and administrative aspects of the project and provides regular narrative and financial reports to the project donor;

    Credentials and Experience
    • Masters Degree
    • A comprehensive understanding of and the capacity to use the entire project cycle management approach;
    • 3 years proven relevant work experience in project management, preferably EU projects, in the region (please submit at least 3 references with a project budget of approximately € 50.000);
    • Knowledge of Higher Education and RTDI systems in Kosovo and the region would be an asset;
    • Ability to analyze achievements against project objectives and take immediate and appropriate action to bring implementation on track;
    • Good communication and reporting skills;
    • Capacity and willingness to work in a politically challenging environment;
    • Fluency in written and spoken English and Albanian essential;
    • Good Computer skills (MS Office);
