    first introduction in English
    Hello,

I feel a bit sad, that there are no introductions in English here.
Aren't there any English speaking CAcert-users?

I've learnt about CAcert on the Linux-/Unix-Day at the University of Applied Sciences in Zweibrücken. I've registered my email-adress and I got on this very first day enough points, so that I could start immediately with assuring other people.

I'm now waiting for the "assurer exam", so that I can do the test and be even better prepared for future assurances. And I can't wait until the CAcert root certificates are recognised in the mayor browsers (like Firefox, Opera and so on). :)

I hope to hear from you all.

    Re: first introduction in English
    Hi Sigrid,

I am from the Netherlands. That means German is not my native language. I can speak and read it, but my writing is terrible. That does not mean i will never respond to posts in the German language, but the chance to see a response from me on a post in English is much bigger.

I see Jens Paul is also active in the CAcert mailing list, which is in English. For what i have seen, he is well informed in the matter, so i do not think we have to afraid to post in English.

    Regards,
    Ron.

    Re^2: first introduction in English
    Hi,

sure, that's why we have the english Q&A board As soon as we see more english activity we can create more boards as well.

So far I've seen about 5 out of the 220 users who are native english speakers. So maybe they can kick-start the english section of this group?

    Regards
    Jens
