Group: Canada Connections

Hello!
since I`m new here in Vancouver, I`d also like to introduce myself to the group.
I am from Mainhatten, Frankfurt am Main Germany and I have been working as a Personal Tutor for English for a language school in Frankfurt for almost 4 years. I arrived to Vancouver two weeks ago and I`m planning to stay here for a year, work and travel. I`ve already seen some nice places here( sunny days in Vancouver are awesome :) and I`ve already met nice people but I`m very excited to find out more about these places, experience the Canadian culture and the work atmosphere.

At the moment I`m looking for a flat or a shared apartment in Vancouver downtown, which is so hard to find, but I don`t give up ;-)!
I`d be glad to receive some good suggestions, advices from you regarding the flat hunting.
