    Re^6: Women in China
From my own experience, I confirm that being an Asian living in Europe just has more difficulties to achieve in Europe than a european woman living in China, if language barrier doesn't exist, of course.

Plus, it depends on the education that the person had received, her background, her experiences and her aim in the life.
Some are happy with their career achievement, some are happy with their families, some are happy in the field of humanitarian work.

As men could always try to block the ascension of a woman in her career, women could always cope with this situation better than men if it's the contrary, because we have always lived in a world of discrimination and it will take time to change, since it has lasted for several centuries.
But, women cope with it doesn't mean that they are more stupid !

And I may say, that more the woman has competences, more her male colleagues try to push her down. (BTW, in Europe, that's the way it happens.) Maybe because Men are focused their life on their carrier, whereas women can be pregnant and can deliver babies, and some have already the fullness of the life with this.

So the intelligency of woman is her adaptability of the evolution in the working world, not because of her career achievement.

And if the discrimination had never existed since the begining of the humanity, the world wouldn't be like as today's.

I agree, in Europe, people esteem more traditional values and views of role and responsibility for being a woman, It's fine as it is, as long as her compentence and performance is fairly awarded and promoted. At least it is the reality of my surroundings.
Back to the article, It must be very interesting to compare both cases and backgrounds, above all, the causes.
