Hi Group!
I've had 3 of 4 semesters of CCNA preparation at school ~1.5 years ago but couldnt finish the course. Back then it wasn't too important for me, but now I'm thinking about getting a CCNA certification and then advancing towards the Voice Certification. Now I'm looking for a good book to help me prepare. I have found one book by Cisco Press " Course Booklet for CCNA Discovery. Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP, Version 4.1" (
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/1587132532/ref=oss_product) but some people have pointed towards "CCNA : Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide: Exam 640-802" by Todd Lammle (
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/0470110082/ref=ord_cart_shr?...).
Which of those, or other books would you recommend to get started on a CCNA certificate.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Philipp,
I'm finishing reading Todd Lammle's CCNA book and find his way of writing and explanation very great. Also there are tests, written and home labs after every chapter. Recommended. ...
P.S. better check out UK's Amazon (

I have bout Todd Lamle's book and have to say, it is really worth it's money. It is well written and easy to understand (considering a rather complex theme ;-) ). I have send back the book I mentioned in my opening post because it was just an addition to the online course.
Thanks for your recommendation!
Cheers
Phil
