    Dear Fellow CleanTechies,

    Californians have voted against Prop 23 this week, thereby taking a major step to protect their state's growing green economy. On a national level, the picture is a different one: Many proponents of Waxman-Markey were voted out of Congress, and Republicans are taking over the House.

    Shari Shapiro, a LEED-certified attorney, believes "cap-and-trade is off the table, and incentives for renewable energy and green building will be scrapped under the guise of “balancing the budget.”
