What should be the contribution of national and European politics in deploying alternative and intelligent energy systems?
EU-politics on renewable energy is not very clear. On the one hand, the European Commission promotes renewable energy by explicit aims and by stating that Europe must be a 'hydrogen economy' in 2005. On the other hand, not much concrete action is taken and politicians take a 'laissez fair' stance. What should be the contribution of national and European politics in deploying alternative and intelligent energy systems? |
