    USA Western States
Travelers to the United States are increasingly making the western states a prime tourist destination. The region includes three of the most popular cities for overseas visitors (Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles), as well as easy access to a variety of national parks and recreational facilities. Currently the U.S. dollar exchange rate greatly favors overseas visitors and helps make the trip reasonably priced. The western region covers a remarkably large area that offers a comprehensive and diverse range of destinations and activities.
These states offer an extensive number of year-round activities and attractions:
Agritourism, Off-road trips, Culture/heritage (Native Americans), Old-time railways, Ecotourism Ranching, Fossil digging, Sand-dune buggying, Golf, Shopping, Hot-air ballooning, Skiing, National/State Parks, Wineries

Highly recommend Grand Canyon and Sedona Arizona. We did a 3 week tour last summer and were left wanting more. It is a beautiful and awe inspiring location of the world.

    Re: USA Western States
    Dear Billy,

The western states are really a great idea. They have some very unique sites to see like the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam. If you are interested there are some events on the American Indian Reservations and you can even join in huntinng for gold and silver. Tourists are a huge world enterprise and it amazes me to see how original some ideas are. My advice is to also call a travel agent because there are many offers of package tours or guided tours. Everyone should be able to find something. I am going to have to find out where Steven Spielberg grew up because he did his first movie at about 12 in the desert. Thank God his mother got him the camera even though she didn't understand what was so interesting about the desert. Many years later, what he saw in that first movie became the basis of Star Wars.

    Re^2: USA Western States
Arizona is the winner. Scotsdale, Arizona. He was born in Ohio - not a western state. If you decide to go there do not foget it will be very hot if it is in the summer.
