  joined the group recently. hope everyone had a good start to the NY.
  Guten Tag! my command of the german language is poor so pardon, I can't post this same hello in the deustche section.
  
  Looking forward to learn more about CSR + CSR-related activities from everyone in the forum. Interested to explore participation and/or contribution to meaningful CSR activites.
  
  brief history of involvement with CSR activities:
  
  1. Addressed UN millenium development goals related to poverty eradication, education and healthcare through committees in the World Economic Forum since 2002.
  
  2. Supported the anti-child sex trafficking program by UNIFEM in Singapore and Indonesia in 2005 where they were trying to raise awarness of child sex trafficking in Indonesia amongst the government, private sector and NGOs. Efforts were made in the form of a conference + support for grassroot agencies trying to save the children + a video of 2 girls rescued from prostitution was produced. engaged prominent civil organisations and humanitarian agencies like the Habibie Foundation of Indonesia and Prince Albert of Monaco's foundation + the Singapore government. The organisation I chair, Platinum Circle, further supported by funding a meeting to draw immediate attention among our community of global enterprises in Asia Pacific.
  
  3. Through Platinum Circle, we address CSR as a corporate objective, business strategy and business model where relevant. Recently hosted a private meeting on CSR in Asia with 50 top executives from our community. Initiating CSR projects in Singapore including a CSR advisory team, social enterprises and SRI fund within our community in collaboration with government & civil society.
