The new England kit, Kickers and Nike Sportswear
    Hi All,

We've been working on some new and exciting projects recently... The Nike one uses really interesting retro materials, The England kit is very new in the way that it is tailored and displayed. Our Kickers FSDU was 100% recyclable which is a trend many brands are following.

    Nike Sportswear

GRR were commissioned by Nike to design a new footwear wall; the installations went into the JD Sports estate and created a destination for the Nike Sportswear range.

Our concept used reclaimed gym flooring - evocative of 1980's school gyms when the popularity of Nike Sportswear exploded; becoming the only choice for training and leisure wear.

With the wall bays authenticity and combination of re-used and modern materials, the display stands out from competing brands and creates an aspirational brand statement in true Nike style.

    Umbro - England Kit

GRR worked closely with Umbro and their US creative agency to deliver a series of Window Displays for the launch of the 2009/10 England Kit.

Umbro employed the services of Saville Row tailor Charlie Allen to design the kit and also drew inspiration from the National Football Museum to develop the retro look.

The windows mirrored the 'Tailored by England' message perfectly by utilising sewing machines, tailors dummies and images of the England squad.

GRR manufactured and fitted all of the the window displays, the campaign ran in House of Fraser, JJB and Wembley Stadium.

    Kickers
Kickers have been loved by generations of rule-breakers, music-makers and feel-gooders over the last 40 years…

… so naturally GRR were delighted to work with one of their designs to create an eco-friendly FSU!

The units’ body, shelves and call-outs were constructed from multiple layers of recycled card. Water based print was used for the floret graphics and branding while re-usable mild steel formed the base (even the packing cartons were 100% recycled).

The FSU’s went into Foot Asylum, Barratts and independent shoe stores across the UK.
