Dear Earthling,
One of the great joys of life, is nurturing treasured memories….in so doing celebrating
and rekindling the memory of those who lived a life well loved …as well as a life well lived.
Today, May 24th, is the birth date of my dear late Father, John Burgess Urquhart.
He was for me the archetypal man… always calm, strong, a sporty, quietly courageous and fair minded soul......
who kept his many charitable activities quietly in the background…for his life was purely for the love …
not the accolades. He was a manager in Rolls Royce Aerospace…and for me a fine inspirational Father...
I vision for him.... and all of our dear friends in the Light.. a... candle...

During periods of time in the early nineteen sixties, he was seconded to the Indian Air Force. While there he developed many good Indian friends, and a profound love for this beautiful country..this inspired in me also,
a love of India, which has grown more profound with the passing years.
Mother India has a magical resonance, which touches the essence of my soul..for this I shall be eternally grateful…..The Bhagavad Gita, The Mahabharata, The Upanishads, Ayurveda, The Ancient Teaching of Yoga,
so many, wonderful books, influences... so many inspiring people......Mahatma Gandhi, being a significant
source of authentic power, in how to conduct your life, to inspire... and be inspired by others.
Architecture, fabrics, use of colour and spices...all touch my soul...and my soul smiles in gratitude:)
Mother India has Blessed my soul well, and I will be, for ever... grateful:)
I have loved from afar…..I vision for myself...one day of having the joy of visiting..with, I so sense,
the spirit of my dear Father..watching over me ..quietly guiding me ..still:)

My soul embraces thy oneness
thy mystery touches and intrigues me
thy vastness sings to my heart
stretching my imagination
all creativity is divinely stirred
from this place of wonder
alchemy unfolds
taking me ever nearer
to sensing thy essence
scenting thy divine aroma
a bitter /sweet infusion enfolds me
irradiating me with warmth
sending me to divine heights
from this coin of vantage
all life I do espy
such a privilege to be so held
by one so loved.

How sweet how resonant she sounds
India India India
reverberates through my soul
capturing my heart with
myriad tales of daring do
stirring my youthful imagination
giving such magical boyhood memories
beginning a lifelong love affair
pursued energetically from afar
perfect in its purity
aspirational in its depth
teaching ever teaching me
through the alchemy of her ways
India: An Eternal Love
ever will I love her
one day I will visit
if it be Gods wish

It is always a privilege, and an honour, to express, with heart and soul.....
our love and gratitude, for people and places, which have inspired us
on our unfolding life journey's.
They are immensely important, in bringing meaning and shape to our lives..
and by their presence and example, lead us each ever closer....
to the Divine Within All things.....the place in our hearts, where we
feel the Oneness... and our inner visions bubble up from deep within
there, to enthuse our lives, and help give clarity and purpose...
to each eternal moment, that we are privileged to be here.....
Inner visions ever brightening
lead us where all loves enlightening
our hearts and minds to visions fair
and takes our souls in oneness there
such an ecstasy fills our beings as we
move with sublime feelings as light
divine ever flowing has angels singing
with celestial knowing and all sages

gently to ascensions bell sublime all
life is raised through divine vibrations

I know of India through the eye of my heart....
One day I may be blessed to temporally visit, and
