  U.S.A. complaints to the WTO against Chinese subsidies on wind power industry

  On December 22, 2010, the United States accused China about illegal subsidies in the production of equipment of wind-energy generation, and asked the WTO to discuss the matter.
  
  The Trade Representative of U.S. estimates that Chinese manufacturer of wind turbines,related equipment and components accepted the subsidies of hundreds of millions of dollars from the Chinese government in 2008.
  
  As the Trade Representative of U.S., Ron Kirk stated in a statement that such subsidies are "extremely harmful... In fact it has become barriers of exports from U.S. to China."
  
  General Electric Co.(GE) and United Technologies Corporation (UTC), as the large manufacturers of wind turbine in the USA, hope to share in the rapid development in the market of China.
  
  This is not the first time that USA complaints to the WTO again the subsides of Chinese government. In September, 2010, this also happens. At that time USA accused China about illegal subsidies on clean energy.
