    Distributors for Scandinavia wanted!
    Dear Colleagues,

    I would like to come in contact with higly exepienced persons and / or companies which are from the field of Cardiology and / or Open Heart Surgery.     Dear Michael,

    From my point of view it is unlikely that you will find distributors here - especially not from Scandinavia. Besides the fact that people from the Nordic region are rare here, it is absolutely not the Scandinavian style to contact companies thru this media.

    As I haved worked some time ago very intensively in the Nordic area, I would recommend you to approach those people directly. They will not come to you. Scandinavian markets are extremely competitive and one of the earliest adaptors of new technologies. The standard is very high all across the Nordic region. So only if you do have a very competitive and modern technology product it will be possible to sell it there.

    My advice: You should try to figure out the major trade shows for your market segment in Scandinavia. Then you should visit these shows and talk to possible distributors directly. Personal contacts are very important there, especially as Swedish and Norwegians (Danish are a bit different) are definitely not "noisy talkers" (maybe only in the evening after drinking some Aquavit or beers) and it needs time to break the ice. It might need a few visits before the people will accept you and will start to work with your company. However, there are not many other alternatives.

    many thanks for your kind and gainful answer. But as you kow at best: "Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt"! But you are absolutely right: the Scandinavian people are very clever and kind but also very reluctant. And of course we do have a inovative and still today uniqe product, which will fit perfectly to that (Emergency) market.
