  Hello!
  
  I am a new member of this group and would like to introduce myself:
  
  I am a physician working in the area of clinical trials since 1998 now. In 2005 I got involved in a research project funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research that was called MediGRID and focused on the application of Grid Computing in Life Sciences. Currently I am heading another research project in this area called PneumoGrid, which will develop a platform for Analyzing Clinical Study Data within Grid computing environments. One possible area in which this can be used is Medical Image Processing.
  
  For this reason I am very interested in participating in the Group E-Health International and I am always looking for possible collaboration partners.
  
  I am furthermore part time employed in a Medical Device Company, here I also focus on planning and conduction of clinical trials in the respiratory field.
