EMCS - Excise Movement and Control System
Das EMCS ("Excise Movement and Control System" - System zur Kontrolle der Beförderung verbrauchsteuerpflichtiger Waren) ist ein EDV-System für die Überwachung der Beförderung verbrauchsteuerpflichtiger Waren unter Steueraussetzung zwischen den EG Mitgliedstaaten. Dieses System wird das Papierformular ersetzen, das zurzeit Beförderungen dieses Typs begleitet (Begleitendes Verwaltungsdokument oder BVD).
