The Group "Economic and Market Sociology" (GEMS) is the hub for sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, ethnologists, and historians with a high affinity for economic and exchange-related topics. Economists with a certain sympathy for one these disciplines are welcome, as well!
As we assume the existence of non-economic "Markets of Society", too, we are not only interested in economic markets but also in the analysis of forms and functions of markets in politics, science, religion, arts, and further societal spheres.
